Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chambers of Commerce and Industry (KPCCI) President Faiz Muhammad has appreciated the fact that the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has provided Gadoon Industrial Estate with 18 megawatts of cheap electricity on KPCCI’s recommendations, according to a news report. The decision was made in a recent meeting between government and Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organisation (PEDO).
KPCCI President said that the decision will help bring the shut industries back to life and the public will have new opportunities for livelihood, the province’s economy will be boosted, and industry’s cost of production will be reduced.
According to details, KP Advisor to CM on Energy Hamayatullah Khan had visited KPCCI where the suggestion had been made to him. He had then visited Gadoon Industrial Estate and the hydel power plant before the decision was made. KPCCI President called it the great success of KPCCI.
