Islamabad: Sector G-14 plot allottees have urged Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan to take notice of the stalled development in the said city compound, according to a news report published on Thursday (June 25).

As per reports, the Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation (FGEHF) has failed to complete the development work of the Sector G-14, which was announced back in 2004, and in turn caused inconvenience for thousands of allottees. The affectees say that getting the possession of the said land is a major issue for them and its not been taken seriously by the authorities.

On the other hand, the area where plot possessions have been given, are sorely lacking infrastructure development. There is no provision of basic amenities like water, power and gas. The road infrastructure and sewerage treatment plant has also not been yet developed. The allottees have reported that they are forced to live in rental accommodation, given their low salaries from the public employment. These affectees have urged for the prioritised development of the stalled Sector G-14.
