RAWALPINDI: The Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) has built a number of roads that spread over 500 kilometres in total to link Gwadar to the rest of the country.
According to a press release issued on Wednesday, the FWO has taken on the challenge to build roads in mountainous areas to extend the benefits of the Gwadar port to other cities. The task was accepted on directions from Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif.
The press release also states that 520km of roads have been completed so far in 1.5 years.
