Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah launched Karachi Transformation Strategy (KTS) project for the improvement of the city’s socio-economic infrastructure and services delivery, according to a news report.
For the project, the World Bank has provided USD 86 million, whereas the provincial government will arrange the remaining amount. This is a multi-faceted project involving public spaces, improvement of mobility, sanitation, water supply, transport, urban spaces, and institutional strengthening. Shah added that the Sindh Government is trying to make the city greener and more liveable.
