Faisalabad: Faisalabad District Administration has asked the Government of Punjab in writing to issue funds worth PKR 3.18 billion for construction of a parking plaza, Kashmir Bridge Underpass, and Haseeb Shaheed General Hospital. Development work on these projects is pending over the last several months due to the absence of the required funds.

Faisalabad Deputy Commissioner office wrote the letter, stressing that the delay in the completion of the abovementioned projects is causing problems for citizens. The issuance of funds will expedite the development work to provide relief to the residents of Faisalabad, the letter read.
As per the details shared by the news source, the estimated cost of Kashmir Bridge Underpass is PKR 1.28 billion, out of which, PKR 730.52 million is still to be released. Development work on the project is still pending by 55%.

Similarly, an additional amount of PKR 1.75 billion is required for the completion of a parking plaza, while the deputy commissioner has requested the issuance of PKR 520.7 million for the construction of Haseeb Shaheed General Hospital.
