Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister (CM) Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo on Monday (January 10) approved to release funds for ongoing development projects in Balochistan, according to news sources.

CM presided over a meeting, where the attendees were informed that the funds were released for new and ongoing projects to ensure timely completion of the projects. The CM ordered the Additional Chief Secretary for Planning and Development to collaborate with the administrative secretaries that will fast-track completion of all uplift projects.

During the meeting, the Quetta development plan was also reviewed. It was decided to release funds on time to make sure the projects are completed within a stipulated time. Reportedly, the meeting attendees were also briefed on the proposed development projects for Pak-Iran and Pak-Afghan border areas. It was disclosed that financial assistance will be sought from the federal government for the completion of the proposed development projects.
