Lahore: Punjab Industrial Estates Development Management Company (PIEDMC) has announced to release of PKR 55 million for the construction of grid station in Bhalwal Industrial Zone and PKR 9.6 million for feeder connection in Chunian Aqua Business Park, according to media reports.

As per the details shared, Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) will develop a 132KV grid station in Bhalwal Industrial Zone while Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) will provide a feeder connection in Chunian Aqua Business Park.
During the PIEDMC’s board of directors meeting, PKR 5.4 million was approved for consultancy services for disposal stations in Vehari and Rahim Yar Khan industrial zones. Additionally, PKR 30 million were approved for transaction advisory of Muzaffargarh Industrial zone, and renewal of contracts of medical insurance and transport service for staff.

In the meeting, it was informed that PIEDMC has earned PKR 12 billion from Quaid-e-Azam Business Park, Vehari, Rahim Yar Khan, and Bhalwal Industrial Zones. It was also reported that development works have started in Bahawalpur Industrial Zone and Quaid-e-Azam Business Park and work on net metering and expansion project has also started in Sundar Industrial Estate. Also, the attendees were informed that the Chunian Industrial Zone has been transformed into Aqua Business Park.
