Islamabad: As a project of National Expressway, a motorway from Hakla to Dera Ismail Khan is being built and is expected to be completed by the end of 2018, according to a news source.
An official from the National Highway Authority (NHA) told earlier in November 2017 that the route is part of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC)’s Western Route and is expected to cost around PKR 129 billion. News reports on 25th January 2018 showed that PKR 10.43 billion have been released by the government for this project. The reports further stated that the government has made an official allocation of PKR 38 billion under the PSDP 2017-2018 budget.
The entire project is divided into five packages, and work will be carried out in phases.
