Karachi: French and British delegations have expressed their interest in investing in various projects in Sindh, according to a news report.

French investors and technocrats are interested in the public-private partnership model for various projects. These projects include the establishment of a grid and transmission line, livestock and dairy farming in Tharparkar, desalination of seawater in Karachi, and the cleaning of Manchhar Lake in Sehwan.
A British delegation showed keen interest in developing the social sector in Thar. Both delegations visited Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah to discuss their proposals.

Shah briefed them about the vast investment potential of these projects, and expressed his appreciation for the support of these delegations. The visitors congratulated him on the launch of the Thar coal project and assured him of their continuing support in the region’s development.
