Islamabad: Ministry of National Health Services has clarified that citizens continue to get free treatments and medical services across the country under the Sehat Sahulat Programme, according to a news story published on April 14.

A spokesperson of the Ministry of National Health Services stated that families can get free treatment from empanelled private and public hospitals throughout Pakistan. He went on to say that the hospitals will continue to provide free of cost services, as per the agreement, to the citizens.

As per the details, 17,000 patients were admitted to hospitals under Sehat Sahulat Programme in two days – Friday and Saturday (April 8 & 9). In a statement issued by the ministry, it was mentioned that any message to the contrary is baseless and false. The citizens can call the free helpline 0800-09009 or approach the relevant hospital’s Sehat card counter in case of any queries.
