The koi bhooka na soye initiative is launched under the larger ‘Ehsaas’ initiative for social uplift that will encompass food trucks roaming through major metropolises. In its initial phase, the project will be operationalised in twin cities and freshly-cooked meals will be distributed to daily wage workers twice a day.
As per the official Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Twitter account, the daily wagers will be the primary beneficiaries of this project who are dwelling in the major metropolises for earning livelihoods. After the establishment of ‘Panahgahs’ –which offers shelters to the homeless, this initiative is another step for the wellbeing of people living in deplorable conditions.
