Lahore: The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) has welcomed the new Tax Amnesty Scheme, according to a news report. FPCCI Chairman Arfan Yousaf Regional has applauded the scheme as a mega tax reform that will incentivise people to register for tax collection.
Yousaf further added that people were moving their assets abroad due to previously precarious situations in the country. He said that the situation was now favourable to transfer money back home and with these new tax reforms, the overall situation will significantly improve.
The FPCCI believes that coupled with this scheme, more arrangement just should be made to enhance industrialisation, balance trade, and increase exports.
