Islamabad: The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) on Monday announced its donation of PKR 20 million to the Prime Minister (PM)’s Corona Relief Fund, a news source reported. In this regard, FPCCI President Mian Anjum Nisar and other chamber members called on Prime Minister Imran Khan and presented him with the donation cheque.

Khan extended his appreciation to the FPCCI delegation for their donations and highlighted that the government had facilitated the functioning of the industries during the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. He advised that industrialists should strictly adhere to the issued SOPs for the safety of their employees. The PM said that the need of the hour was to keep a balance between continuing economic activities and following the precautionary anti-COVID-19 measures.
