Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has laid the foundation stones for two underpasses and a stadium; Gulshan-e-Ravi T Junction Underpass, Samanabad Morr Underpass and Samanabad Stadium project, a news source reported on January 11.

CM Elahi, while speaking at the ceremony, disclosed that several projects, worth PKR 20 billion have been started in Lahore, which will be completed within a year. He went on to say that a community centre and a sports complex will be constructed in Samanabad.

The news source disclosed that PKR 7.53 billion will be spent on the Samanabad Morr Underpass, Gulshan-e-Ravi T Junction Underpass, and the cricket stadium. The total estimated cost of the Samanabad Cricket Stadium is PKR 660 million. Additionally, PKR 4.84 billion will be spent on the restoration of the Gulshan-e-Ravi T Junction and Bund Road, which is expected to be completed within eight months.
