Gwadar: Balochistan’s Finance Minister Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi on Monday attended a ceremony to lay the foundation stone for the development of a 150-bed hospital and a Pak-China Friendship Technical and Vocational Training Institute in the city – a news source reported.

The Chinese government provided a grant of RMB 240 million for the construction of the hospital, along with an additional RMB 87 million for the construction of the institute. The overall construction of the entire project is slated to be completed in about two years.
Chinese Consulate General Mr Wang, who was also present on the occasion, stated that China was taking great steps for the development and prosperity of Gwadar.

Minister Buledi also spoke at the event, and vowed that CPEC would transform the region and the fate of the residents of Gwadar. He added that the technical training centre project would provide employment opportunities to people across the province and would also help produce skilled manpower.
