Lahore: Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab has stated that the foundation stone for Jamia Masjid Muhammadia to be laid today, according to a news report. The mosque will be established near Chauburji on Bahawalpur Road.
Lahore Development Authority (LDA) will construct a new building for the mosque. 22 marlas of land on Lake Road had been acquired for Orange Line Metro Train out of a total of 2 kanals of land. A three-storey building will be constructed on the remaining 18 marlas of land.
In exchange for 22 marlas of acquired land, 32 marlas have been granted near Azeem Hospital where a four-storey building, including a basement, will be constructed.
