Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar is set to lay the foundation for Gulab Devi Underpass and Lahore Bridge expansion project today, according to news sources.
The director general of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) will update the chief minister on two projects. As per CM Buzdar, Lahore is the heart of Pakistan and the government has begun to work on development initiatives. These initiatives are significant because they will provide assistance to the people.
In a statement earlier, the chief minister mentioned that the projects were devised keeping in mind the needs of the people. The government focused on the neglected areas of the city to bring them at par with the developed areas.
Moreover, CM Buzdar assured that the work on Gulab Devi Underpass and Lahore Bridge will be completed in the coming two years. Once completed, the projects will facilitate people by reducing travel time and preventing traffic congestion.
