Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has approved a flyover and extension work on the main road in Abbottabad, a news source reported. He was speaking to several national assembly members (MNAs) hailing from the Hazara division in Islamabad.
The MNAs informed the PM about the issues faced by the people of their constituencies. The PM also approved roads for tourist spots in Kaghan Valley and Batgram, and directed that a PC-1 for the project should be immediately prepared.
Speaking on the occasion, the PM said that the government will take all possible measures to promote tourism in the country. He said that tourism had played a major role in alleviating poverty from KP during the past three years.
The PM stressed the need for strengthening the local bodies system in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa to ensure development of all regions in the province.
He also emphasised the need to implement the provincial finance award.
