Karachi: Fly Jinnah, a new local airline, made its inaugural flight from Karachi on Monday (October 31) and arrived at Islamabad International Airport, news sources reported.

The airline is a collaboration between the Lakson Group and the Air Arabia Group. As per other details, the airline’s fleet will consist of three Airbus A320-200S and exclusively service four domestic routes. The airline would fly direct daily flights from Karachi to Islamabad, Lahore, and Peshawar from its operating centre in Karachi. It runs four direct flights per week between Karachi and Quetta. The official launch ceremony of Fly Jinnah took place in a local hotel, with dignitaries from various government ministries and JV members in attendance.
Addressing the ceremony, the group chief executive officer of Air Arabia, Adel Al Ali, said that the event marks a significant occasion as Fly Jinnah takes to the skies. This move underscores the carrier’s strategic commitment to providing dependable and cost-effective air travel to its Pakistani customers.

It is worth noting that Fly Jinnah recently finished its test flight and operational check phase and is now the local airline’s newest addition. Prior to this, Sialkot traders launched a flying operation that is now operating on an international scale.
