Karachi: Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon revealed that flood victims are being granted ownership rights to their houses, according to news published on July 26. He emphasised that the allocation of houses is being conducted transparently and based on merit, ensuring fairness for all.

During his recent address to the media, Minister Memon spoke about the and the government’s proactive response to overcome the challenges raised by ongoing rains in Karachi. He assured that the Sindh government is actively working on dewatering efforts in all districts, including Karachi.

Memon shared the government’s upcoming plans to finalize new routes for the EV bus service, a step towards a more sustainable public transportation system. He stated that additional buses have also arrived to ply the routes of the city. Moreover, the minister highlighted the successful completion of small dams under the Sindh government’s initiatives.
