Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Murad Ali Shah has approved funds amounting to PKR 22 billion for the completion of 243 development projects, which were stalled due to the devastating floods in the province, according to news published in the leading newspaper on February 13.

The CM mentioned that the funds will be used for the completion of the halted projects and the Rapid Response Force across the province. During the meeting, the establishment of a Crowd Management Unit was approved for better security and counterterrorism.

CM Shah approved PKR 1.1 million funds for registration and related work to 75 acres of land designated for the Hyderabad Press Club. The provincial government along with non-government organisations has started the rehabilitation process which includes the construction of new roads and homes that were damaged by the flash floods.
