ISLAMABAD: The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued flood alerts to Provincial Disaster Management Authorities (PDMAs) because of certain flood possibilities in the Indus River and heavy rainfall in various areas of the country.
Reportedly, the NDMA has provided rescue boats to the PDMAs of Punjab and Sindh. Moreover, SMS alerts have also been sent to the public through the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).
