Quetta: Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Sajid Hussain Turi inaugurated flats for workers in Nawa Village, Quetta, according to news published on October 11.

The minister has inaugurated 446 flats for the workers of private factories, which will be handed over within two months. On the occasion, Minister Turi lauded the efforts of the Balochistan Workers Welfare Board and Provincial Labour Ghoram Khan Bugti. As per the details, the schools and playgrounds will also be constructed for the children of workers in the labour colony. It was mentioned that all facilities will be offered in the labour colonies. The minister revealed that similar colonies will be established for workers in Taxila, Mardan, and Rawalpindi. He also directed the Workers Board of all the provinces to complete the apartments and labour colonies as soon as possible.
Moreover, the minister asked the people of Balochistan to send their skilled workers abroad. He mentioned that the government has made an agreement with Saudi Arabia and Europe to employ Pakistani skilled workers. It was stated that comprehensive policies are being formulated to address the problems faced by the workers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan.

Provincial Labour Minister Nawabzada Ghoram Khan Bugti, Secretary Workers Welfare Board, Provincial Labour Secretary, and other federal and provincial officers and labour organizations were present at the inauguration.
