Islamabad: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Syed Shabbar Zaidi said that the department will create a new system like fixed tax scheme for real estate developers, in a press conference on Tuesday, according to the news sources.
He said that in the first quarter of the ongoing fiscal year, FBR has collected a PKR 963 billion tax revenue, and the refunds worth PKR 75 billion were released in the same time duration.

He added that the department’s negotiation with the trade bodies are underway, however, the condition of computerised national identity card (CNIC) for a purchase of over PKR 50,000 will not be withdrawn. Although, Zaidi conceded that the full enforcement of this condition might be postponed for the time being.
