Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Local Government (LG) Department on Tuesday notified the establishment of five new Tehsil Municipal Administrations (TMAs) in the province, a news source reported.

To this effect, Special Assistant to KP Chief Minister (CM) on Local Government and Rural Development Kamran Bangash stated that the new TMAs would help provide best services to the locals. He added that the new KP TMAs would make LG facilities and services more efficient – helping locals get access to clean water and sanitation services at their doorstep.
Bangash stated that upon the special directives of KP CM, they had also issued the notification required pertaining to the new developments. He also revealed that the new TMAs were established in:
- Tehsil Seo Kohistan
- Tehsil Chagarzai Buner
- Tehsil Khadukhel Buner
- Tehsil Ghazni Khel Laki
- Tehsil Martong

He added that the provincial government was also analysing other areas in KP to set up more TMAs.
