Islamabad: The Federal Government of Pakistan has issued the first instalment of funds worth PKR 50 million for construction of Baltistan University in Skardu, reported a news source. The university is expected to cost PKR 1.76 billion.

This university will offer quality education facilities to students from four districts: Skardu, Kharmang, Shigar, and Ghanche.
