Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Monday has decided to ask the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to investigate the cases of illegal housing schemes that are fraudulently using authority’s name to scam people, according to media reports.

The said decision was taken in a meeting held under the chair of CDA Chairman Aamir Ali Ahmed and was attended by Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Hamza Shafqaat, Chief Metropolitan Officer of the Municipal Corporation of Islamabad (MCI) and other relevant officials.
In the meeting, it was decided that strict action should be taken against the housing schemes that are scamming people by using CDA and the Islamabad administration’s name.

On a separate occasion, CDA Chairman while talking to the media, told that various development schemes have been initiated in the industrial areas of Islamabad and Kahuta to facilitate the industrial sector. Under this development plan, rehabilitation of roads is planned in Sectors I-9 and I-10 Industrial Areas and Kahuta Triangle including Islamabad Dry Port Road.
