Islamabad: The Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation (FGEHF) has invited bids for developing Sector G-14/4 of the capital city, according to a publication.
FGEHF is looking for firms with experience in infrastructure development and rehabilitation works. These firms should be affiliated with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in Category C-3, or above.

Applicants will have to provide their tax record, in addition to following the procedures laid down by the authority. They can acquire bidding documents from FGEHF’s office by paying PKR 3,000 (non-refundable amount). The deadline to purchase these documents will expire on March 6 after working hours.
Bidders will be post-qualified as per the information provided with the bid. The authority will not consider any applicants who fail to qualify in this procedure.
The firms have been asked to visit the project site to know more about the nature of work and materials required to accomplish the task. FGEHF will also hold a pre-bid meeting on February 28 at 11am in its committee room.

Moreover, separate bids will be accepted under the two-envelope procedure. The envelope containing technical information should be clearly labelled as a ‘technical proposal’. Similarly, the second envelope containing the bid price is to be marked as a ‘financial proposal’.
The financial proposal should include three percent of the bidding amount as bid and security. These proposals have to be submitted by March 7 – till 11am.
