As part of the project, the FGEHA would construct a 2-kilometre-long missing link from Shah Allah Dita’s water reservoir to provide the residents of the aforementioned sectors with a reliable water supply. Once completed, the project would provide 2.5 million gallons of water per day (MGD). The authority has already approved Project Concept-1 (PC-1) of the project, and the tender for the said project will be issued soon. As per the sources, the project will be completed in a year on a priority basis. Once completed, the sectors will be integrated with the Capital Development Authority (CDA)’s water supply network.
