Islamabad: The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) is planning to launch new residential projects in eight major cities of the country, according to news published on November 28.

As per the details, the new housing schemes are for federal government employees and the general public on the basis of the joint venture. The new housing projects will be launched in Lahore, Karachi, Multan, Islamabad, Peshawar, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, and Quetta. The news source mentioned that the housing projects will feature apartments, houses, and plots.

Moreover, the authority has sought Expressions of Interest (EoI) from the land owners, firms, and companies. The authority mentioned that the applications were invited from developers, firms, land owners, and eligible individuals for the supply of land for housing projects across the country. It was disclosed that the applications for acquiring land and the selection of companies will be done according to the Joint Venture Regulations 2020. The authority stated that it will receive applications for expressing interest by December 22.
