Islamabad: The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) on Wednesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in a bid to facilitate the federal employees in the construction of their houses in the schemes launched by the authority, according to news sources.

The said agreement was signed by the FGEHA Director General Waseem Hayat Bajwa and Bank of Punjab President Zafar Masud – on behalf of their respective organisation. There were several other officials of both organisations in attendance as well. It was highlighted that the contract will help people avoid increasing rate of interest against the mortgage.

In an earlier development, Director General Bajwa also visited Sector G-14/2,3 to oversee the progress of the operation underway against Built-up Properties. The said operation is being carried out by Security, Land and DC/LAC wings.
