Islamabad: The Ministry of Housing and Works has received PKR 23.235 billion in the last 10 years from eligible members of the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA), who had applied for residential plots in various residential schemes of the capital city.

As per the publication, the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) has issued consent papers to eligible members who had applied for residential plots in Park Road Housing Scheme, F-14 & F-15 housing schemes, Thallian Scheme, and Green Enclave-I & II.

To this effect, the ministry has notified its receipt of PKR 1,800,000,000 for plots in Park road, PKR 2,462,657,453 for plots from Thallain, PKR 11,880,000,000 for plots in sector F-14 & F-15, PKR 1,075,826,328 for plots in Bhara Kahu GE-I, and PKR 6,016,790,090 for plots in Bhara Kahu GE-II.

In the Green Enclave-I Housing scheme, the development is already in progress and plots will be handed over to the allottees once the work is finished. However, in Green Enclave-II, the joint partner could not provide the necessary land, which resulted in the termination of the contract.
