Quetta: The Federal Government Employee Housing Authority (FGEHA) and the Pakistan Housing Authority (PHA) Foundation has opened registration for Sariab Road Residencia, an advertisement in the leading daily announced. The registration deadline is February 28, with a membership fee of PKR 5,000.

According to reports, the said apartment project is being built on the Main Sariab Road, next to the Federal Government Service Colony. The apartments will be developed over a three-year period on a 26-acre piece of land. The flats will be available on a payment plan including 36 monthly instalments.
According to the details shared, the project would have two categories of apartments: Category-A and Category-B. The A category apartments will be 1,123 sq ft in size, with two bedrooms, a lounge, a drawing-room, a kitchen, and two attached bathrooms, while the B category apartments will be 885 sq ft in size, with two bedrooms, a drawing-room, a kitchen, and two attached bathrooms.
The project includes all municipal amenities such as water, gas, a large network of roads, schools, and a boundary wall with 24-hour security.
The following is a breakdown of the quota division for the project:
- 40% quota for provincial employees (Balochistan)
- 20% for federal government employees
- 40% for the general public

Moreover, the eligibility criteria for registration is defined as follow:
- The Federal, Balochistan government employees, widows of the government servants and the general public are eligible to apply
- Registered members will have to pay the amount as prescribed in the payment schedule to be given with the offer of allotment
- The application for registration can be submitted in any branch of Muslim Commercial Bank (MCB) or Habib Bank Limited (HBL), together with the specified membership fee in the form of pay order, Bank draft, or cash.
