Islamabad: The Federal Government Housing Authority (FGEHA) has allocated as many as 1,188 plots of category-I to federal government employees in the Park Road Housing Scheme of Islamabad as per the approved layout plan, according to news published on March 15.

The decision was taking during the 142nd meeting of the FGEHA Executive Authority where it was decided that 3.5% quota will be segregated into three categories:
• Constitutional Serving Employees’ Quota (2.5%)
• Constitutional Retired Employees’ Quota (0.5%)
• Constitutional Widows’ Quota (0.5%)

The FGEHA has revealed that several plots – which are to be allotted as per the pre-approved quota – were reserved in the Park Road Housing Scheme for the registered members of constitutional bodies/quota. This constitutional quota is linked to employees of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, Islamabad High Court, Federal Shariat Court, Islamic Ideological Council, Election Commission of Pakistan, Senate Secretariat, National Assembly Secretariat, Wafaqi Mohtasib Secretariat and Federal Tax Ombudsman Office.
As per the details, the allotment of plots in Park Road Housing Scheme will be made according to age-wise seniority to above mentioned constitutional bodies registered during the Membership Drive-II.
