Islamabad: The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) has notified a tender for contracting the services of a private security agency, according to a publication. To this effect, the authority has sought ‘single-stage, two-envelop sealed bids’ from the applicants.

The other communicated requirements are as follows:
- The interested firms should be renowned, financially-sound and in possession of appropriate legal licenses and firearms.
- The companies should be registered with sales tax, income tax and appear on the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR)’s Active Taxpayers List (ATL).
- The interested firms must be established at least for five years.

Firms that fulfil the said criteria will have to submit their sealed bids, along with relevant documents, and a PKR 50,000 bank draft/pay order. The biding document can be obtained from the office of Assistant Director for PKR 1,000 in shape of a demand draft/pay order in favour of FGEHA.
The bids have to be submitted within 15 days and the FGEHA holds the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
