Islamabad: Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) Director General Waseem Hayat Bajwa on Sunday (February 28) received briefing on the construction status of Skyline Apartments in Islamabad, a news source reported on March 1.

According to the details revealed, Skyline Apartments is a residential project of the FGEHA and is being developed near the New Islamabad International Airport complex. Project Director Ghulam Farid stated that the high-rise development will accommodate government servants employed on various pay grades.
He said that the FGEHA had commenced with the construction work on May 5, 2020, adding that work is underway on two blocks. The concrete slab of ground floor will be completed by May and the construction of two blocks will be completed on time, he added.

In response, the FGEHA DG directed project contractor to expedite project development by spreading construction work over three shifts. He also asked the site engineer to present status report to the chief engineer on a regular basis.
FGEHA Chief Engineer Colonel (retired) Imtiaz Khattak, Director (Staff) Manzoor Ali Shah, and other staff members concerned were present on the occasion.

Later, DG Bajwa inspected the ongoing construction work at Lifestyle Residency on Bedian Road. Project Director Tariq Shahzad provided briefing on the status of the construction work. In response, the DG directed the officials concerned to complete the low-cost housing initiative within the communicated timeline.
