Islamabad: The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) on Monday (September 6) announced that the construction in different sectors is underway at full swing to facilitate those allotted plots, according to media reports.
As per the details shared, the construction is near completion for a football ground in Sector G-13/4, a modern playground in G-13/1, and cricket ground in Sector G-13. Also, construction is final stages in three parks in Sector G-13/4. It was reported that the parks will open for the public by the end of this month.
It was reported that the carpeting of roads and streets is completed. As far as the provision of water is concerned, the construction work on the overhead tank has been 80% completed. Likewise, the construction of roads in G-15/3 is progressing at an expedited pace.
Moreover, it was also disclosed that over 5,000 tree saplings have been planted in Sectors G-14/4 and G-13. It is planned to plant an extra 6,000 plants during this week. Besides this, development works at Sector G-14/4 is in their final stages of completion.
