Islamabad: The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) and the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) government on Thursday (October 20) agreed to launch a housing project for the locals in Rawalakot, according to news sources.

To this effect, a contract has been signed between the two parties to bridge the housing gap for the people of the valley. Under this agreement, the FGEHA would offer technical and managerial assistance in terms of engineering, planning and designing cost estimates, development work’s execution and supervision.

The agreement was signed by AJK Secretary of Physical Planning and Housing Department Ghulam Bashir Mughal and FGEHA Director Staff Amara Jabeen. The agreement signing ceremony was also attended by several high-ranking officials of both parties.
