Islamabad: The federal government has launched the ‘Prime Minister National Innovation Award’, which is a special accolade for young entrepreneurs in the country, an advert in the newspaper has been released to announce the launch of this award.

Under the ‘Prime Minister’s National Innovation Award’ project, the federal government would provide loans of up to PKR 2 million to young people under the age of 30. The last date to apply for the project is January 30.

The government has proposed that the award of the loan will be made to the people for the business ideas in the following thematic areas of innovative ideas:
- Food Security
- Water Management And Sustainability
- Sustainable Energy
- Urban Planning
- Climate Change and Environment
- Information Technology and Telecom
- Innovative Governance and Reforms
- Sociology and Philosophy
- Medical and Health Sciences

The program is open to all Pakistani nationals between the age of 15 and 30.
