Peshawar: The employees at the Fata Disaster Management Authority (FDMA), including Director General and Directors have announced the donation of three days’ salary to the Prime Minister’s Dam Fund, as per a news report. This statement has come from FDMA’s spokesperson.
FDMA Director General Mehmood Aslam Wazir put a suggestion before the employees, who agreed to donate generously to the Dam Fund, read the press release issued by the FDMA. Speaking at the occasion, Wazir said that the construction of dams is everyone’s national obligation as the country is facing acute water shortage. He also said that it would be a calamity if future generations were left without proper planning for water storage.
