Faisalabad: Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Director-General (DG) Muhammad Suhail Khawaja has stated that over 2,000 employees of the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) and the FDA, combined, would be allotted residential plots in the FDA City Housing Scheme currently under development in the city, a news source reported.

He expressed his views on the matter during a review meeting of the plots’ allotment. He further stated that the summary for the said plots had been dispatched to the Punjab government for approval. Chief Engineer Shahid Mehmood, Additional Director General Amer Aziz, Deputy Managing Director (DMD) WASA Jabbar Anwar, and other officials concerned were all present on the occasion.

The DG said that various plot categories would be provided to the employees on the basis of their pay scales. The prices for the residential plots will be charged as per the Deputy Commissioner rates, he added.
Moreover, he informed that a specific percentage of down payment would be gathered for the establishment of the housing block and the plot prices would be charged in monthly instalments.
