Faisalabad: Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Director-General (DG) Muhammad Suhail Khawaja has tasked FDA officers to aid the district administration in its attempts at containing the COVID-19 spread, a news source reported.

To facilitate this measure, the officials concerned would look after the returning passengers in the city and perform tasks in three shifts at the quarantine centre in Government College University’s (GCU) New Campus. FDA DG Khawaja assigned the task of Liaison Officer to Director Estate Management Dr Anam Sajid Malik.

Moreover, three teams of FDA officials had been formed to perform their newly assigned duties. FDA Additional Director-General (ADG) held a meeting with the officials, shared the necessary directives, and assured them of safety kits and other requirements, including Sehri and Iftari for the on-duty teams.
He also directed the officials to remain in contact with district administration officers and police authorities, while serving their duties to control the spread of COVID-19.
