Faisalabad: The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has expedited the record digitalization of commercial and residential areas of the city, after which, the property owners will be granted smart cards, according to news published on December 18.

This announcement was made during a meeting held by the FDA Director General (DG) Abid Hussain Bhatti. The FDA director general reviewed the digitalization process and instructed the concerned staff to speed up the pace of record digitalization for earlier completion. The involved departments are asked to ensure complete transparency while computerizing the data.

It was concluded that FDA has over 18 residential colonies and 17 commercial markets under its jurisdiction. After the completion of record computerization, property owners in FDA-controlled areas will be issued smart cards.
