Faisalabad: The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has shared the details on the dues collected from FDA City allottees; according to which a sum in excess of PKR 160 million has been retrieved – a news source reported earlier today (July 10). These dues will be channelled towards the development schemes currently in progress within the project.

The details were revealed in a meeting of FDA officials chaired by the authority’s Director General (DG) Muhammad Sohail Khawaja.
According to the dues breakdown intimated during the session, collections under the head of Additional Development Charges amounted to PKR 5.5 million; the Late Payment Surchage stood at PKR 2.4 million; and instalments totalled PKR 1.9 million. Additionally, PKR 1.1 million were collection in Transfer Fees; PKR 2 million in Restoration Fees; PKR 0.5 million in Development Charges; and PKR 0.5 million in Construction Surcharge.

Addressing the meeting, the DG said that the revenue would help in speeding up the development work in the project – and directed the officials concerned to ensure that it faced no unnecessary delays.
