Faisalabad: On the directions of the Punjab government, the Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) recently established a dedicated counter at its khidmat centre for private housing schemes and for the provision of building layout approvals — with the initiative aimed at improving the ease-of-doing-business in the country, a news source reported. The counter was made operational on July 1.

Khawaja stated that the aforementioned decision had been made on the directions of the provincial government who wanted a special counter established in the khidmet centre located near the city’s General Bus Stand. This move is meant to reduce the time required for building plan approvals, and to make things easier for the general public during the ongoing pandemic situation.
