Faisalabad: The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has sealed the illegal extension of a private housing scheme located on Satiana Road, a news source reported. The directives in this regard came from FDA Director General Muhammad Sohail Khawaja.

According to the publication, the developer of this private housing scheme had launched Phase IV and Phase V without seeking FDA’s approval and making due payments. Taking action on this activity, the FDA Enforcement team sealed the society’s site office in these phases.
According to reports, the project developer had refused to make respective payments to get the approval for the extension projects. The FDA notified the developer several times in the past and took the action after the notices were left ignored.

While sealing the society’s site office, FDA Estate Officer Imtiaz Goraya directed the developer to clear the pending dues, apply for a formal approval, and meet the requirements in order to resume development work. ‘In case of non-compliance, a criminal case will be registered against the society owner,’ he said.
