Faisalabad: The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has reported the receipt of over 227 applications, pertaining to various verification concerns, at its one-window cell facility within the last 10 days – after the cell resumed operations owing to the government-sanctioned ease in the country’s lockdown restrictions, according to news sources.

Of this total applications figure, which includes requests on property transfers, estate management, procurement of no-objection certificates (NoC), and approvals of building layouts, 117 requests have already been resolved.
This information was revealed by Director General (DG) FDA Muhammad Suhail Khawaja who was presiding over a review meeting held to analyse the performance of the one-window counter. The session considered the pace and quality of sectional performance and said that the FDA was committed to the upkeep of quality services provision.

The DG, further, expressed satisfaction over the authority’s overall performance and stressed that complete operational transparency, along with the resolution of applications on merit, was ‘essential’.
The authority’s one-window cell had halted operations during the government-ordained lockdown anti-COVID lockdown as a precautionary measure.
