Faisalabad: Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Director-General (DG) Muhammad Suhail Khawaja on May 20 intimated that the civic authority would propose the Techno Park, Faisalabad Ring Road, and Expressway road projects to the Punjab government for consideration, a news source reported. He further directed the authority officials concerned to make the projects ‘technically feasible’ before dispatching their summaries for executive approval.

The DG was presiding over a review meeting to discuss the performance of the FDA and its uplift programs. Directors Suhail Maqsood, Dr. Anam Sajid Malik, Hasan Zaheer, Mehr Ayub, Junaid Usman, Asma Mohsin, Chief Engineer Shahid Mehmood, and Deputy Director Administration Yasir Ijaz Chattha were also present on the occasion.

The DG said that all FDA officials were required to play a professional role for rendering the said mega projects implementable – and for the further development of Faisalabad city. He remarked that the authority could win their approvals by pinpointing their significance in the effort to cope with future district challenges.
