Faisalabad: The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) convened a consultative meeting to receive public input and ideas on the proposed Faisalabad 20-year Master Plan (2021-41), according to press reports. The meeting was held in the FDA committee room, where the committee proposed by FDA Director Dr Faisal Azeem accepted public proposals.

The representative of the private business firm informed the meeting regarding the suggested master plan. Later, private firms and people provided feedback on how to improve the plan, which was accepted by the committee for additional deliberation and incorporation into the final plan, if viable.
Speaking on the occasion, FDA Chairman Chaudhry Latif Nazar stated that all available resources are being used to make the proposed 20-year master plan more comprehensive and technically sound. In this regard, the inclusion of all stakeholders in the consultation process is critical to ensuring that the plan is consistent with on-the-ground realities.

The FDA Chairman Chaudhry Latif Nazar, Acting Additional Director/director Finance Azam Malik, and committee members attended the consultation session. Aside from that, individuals from all walks of life and businesses organisations and technical consultants attended the meeting.
