Faisalabad: Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Director General (DG) Muhammad Sohail Khawaja recently announced the authority’s decision to utilize community assistance to initiate a project for the repairs and maintenance of five major roads in the city — a news source reported on July 25.

Khawaja made this revelation while speaking at a meeting with some of the top developers of the city. Other notables and high officials of the city also attended the session.
The DG took the opportunity to further state that special efforts were being made to turn Faisalabad into a beautiful city. He explained that a detailed programme has been prepared to repair and maintain roads around the city, and that the repairs and patchwork of these five major roads is just the first part of this initiative.
